Two undentified males were killed hours apart on the streets of Downey. The first male was run over by a truck around 8 pm tuesday night near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Lakewood Blvd. The second was victim was run over as he was trying to cross the street on Woodruff Avenue. Both men were taken to the hospital but did not survive their injuries.

A 3 year old girl was killed today in Anaheim by a hit and run driver. The driver, who fled the scene before police arrived, was driving a beige Nissan Maxima. The car had been reported stolen. The mother of the child was also struck by the stolen car. The mother was seriously injured and taken to UCI Medical Center.

Police are asking anyone with information about the accident or about the whereabouts of the driver to call the CHP at 949-559-7888.

A 12 year old girl was killed on the Route 60 tonight after running on the highway to retrieve a piece of clothing from the freeway. The girl, who has been identified by the CHP as 12 year old Eunice Flores, was struck by a motorist going 70 miles per hour. Eunice was attempting to gather clothes that had fallen from suitcases that had fallen from the roof rack of the car that Flores was traveling in, scattering the clothes all over the freeway.
